Driver Requirements

To ensure the safety and quality of our service, drivers with Green Ride must meet the following requirements:

• Age: Drivers must be at least 21 years old.
• Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
• Driving Experience: Drivers need a minimum of 1 year of driving experience.
• Vehicle: Your vehicle must meet our safety and quality standards.
• Insurance: Drivers must have valid auto insurance.
• Background Check: A background check is mandatory for all drivers.

Welcome to the Driver Guide for Green Ride. This guide provides all the information you need to become a driver with Green Ride and start offering rides to passengers.

How to Register as a Driver

Step 1: Download the App

1. Go to the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
2. Search for "Green Ride Driver" and download the app.

Step 2: Create an Account

1. Open the app and click on "Sign Up".
2. Enter your personal details:
   • Full Name
   • Email Address
   • Phone Number
   • Password
3. Agree to the terms and conditions and click "Register".

Step 3: Verify Your Phone Number

1. You will receive an SMS with a verification code.
2. Enter the verification code in the app to verify your phone number.

Step 4: Provide Required Documents

1. Upload a copy of your driver’s license.
2. Upload a recent photo of yourself.
3. Upload your vehicle registration document.
4. Upload proof of insurance for your vehicle.

Step 5: Vehicle Inspection

1. Schedule a vehicle inspection at one of our approved centers.
2. Ensure your vehicle meets all the requirements and passes the inspection.

Step 6: Complete Background Check

1. Provide consent for a background check.
2. Our team will review your background check results.

Step 7: Start Driving

1. Once all the steps are completed and approved, you will receive a notification.
2. Open the app and go online to start accepting ride requests.
